Agriturismo Tuscan Farm-House Holiday
July 31, 2012Imagine experiencing the real Italy on a romantic and rustic farmhouse while eating, drinking, relaxing and strolling through the countryside... If this is what the doctor ordered then an Agriturismo is the perfect choice for accommodations when traveling in Italy, one I highly recommend to everyone.
One of my favorites is the charming AGRIFUTURISMO situated on a side road in central Chianti, halfway between Castellina in Chianti and Barberina Val d’Elsa. Famous Tuscan towns like Poggibonsi, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Colle do Val d’Elsa, Monteriggioni, Sienna, Panzano and Greve in Chianti are all within driving distance.
And if that isn't appealing enough, Agrifutursimo has been featured in Marie Claire Maison Italy, and the owner Federica Fusi's own home has been photographed for a book called The Natural Home: Dwellings at Ease with Themselves and Their Surroundings by photographer Nathalie Taverne.
