Live the Life You Want!

Have you noticed how every so often life has a way of reminding you of your mortality? As if saying, “Hey you! Yes YOU!!! It’s time to wake up because you only have one life to live!” I like to believe this is the universe’s way of challenging you to confront your fears and live the life you want. The truth is simple… Time awaits no one – not even YOU!

Ask yourself: What are your dreams? What things would you like to do? What places would you like to see? And most importantly, ‘who’ do you want to share it with?

All these questions had me thinking of the many dreams I’ve had since the time I was a little girl. Dreams inspired by movies like Out of Africa, books like The Twentieth Wife, and poets like Robert Browning who famously wrote, “Grow old with me; the best is yet to be.” And I discovered a common denominator among them; they all are about LOVE!

Ultimately, is love not what we all aspire to have in our lives? Love is the secret ingredient to a happy life. It is the power behind every magical moment, and the nourishment that gives you strength to face each new day.

I also realized that every great love story takes place in exotic locales with spectacular landscapes. Perhaps this is because a love so great can only be enhanced by the allure of a breathtakingly beautiful setting.
